Blight Gaming recently produced a small Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tutorial video that covers two pieces of tech that are situationally useful, the first of which is the air dash install. Every character is allowed to perform a certain amount of air actions, but their original jump counts as one of those actions. By bypassing the original jump and using a move that puts you into the air, such as Spider-Man’s Web Zip or Zero’s Ryuuenjin, you are able to become airborne without using your first jump action. This will allow you to air dash more than once with characters that couldn’t otherwise do so. This is very useful for calling assists at super-jump height.
The video also goes over anchor THCs, which are THCs that use your first and third character. This occurs when your second character is on assist cooldown and you only have two meter to spend.
